T6.1 power tailgate - internal release switch??

Evening folks.
Can the electric tailgate be opened from the inside but from the back? Not using the drivers door mounted switch or key fob?
If not, can a switch be put into the card and does anyone have experience of what wires to splice into?

Yes, you can fit a switch and its pretty straight forward. I followed this guide on youtube:

I used some Wago 3 way connectors instead of the push on ones used in the video

Cheers pal but that shows a tailgate without electric opening (lifting). Do we think the same rule applies and the activation will simply send power to the rams?

Ah sorry, jumped the gun a bit!

Could well be the same as I suppose the tailgate switch itself isn't different. There are retrofitting vids for the electric tailgate which would confirm if the switch is changed or not.
