T6.1 Needle Sweep with VCDS. Is it possible? (Now done)

Morning guys.

Just got my new 72 plate Transporter and I've just been doing a few adaptations with VCDS and want to do the needle sweep but can't find the option on VCDS. I've gone Module 17 - Adaptions - and the tried looking for instrument celebration but can't find it. Is it named something else on the T6.1?

Its there its just got a new name, look for 'staging' in the adaptions list

Only one option when i search staging and it says "Error: Channel Not Available". Any other ideas? I've scrolled through the list of options twice but can't see anything obvious

What is AID2 (FPKentry)?

AID2 = Second generation of Active Info Display (AKA digital cockpit).

FPKentry = in simple terms it is an immobilizer integrated in dashboard module instrument cluster with Low Power Communication Device Transmitter

Hi Jimmy. If you look at Tommy_t6.1's first post above. You need to tick Bit 0 - Staging, yes

Went into long coding and ticked the box for staging,

Not sure then, sorry. That worked on my 72 plate.

Managed to get it to work after,needed to remove the key from the ignition to activate it
