T6.1 engine undertray - optional extra?

Hi
I have a 2020 T6.1 and noticed yesterday it doesn’t have any undertrays.
are these optional extras or should every T6.1 have them?
noticed quite a lot of wind noise / vibration when driving around Scotland recently, could this be why? Not noticed it before even on motorways

T6 got them on kombis but not on PVs
Your profile pic looks like a kombi, have VW changed the approach on this for 6.1s or is it a converted van ?

Mines a PV converted, so this is probably why?
mid people have had no issues with the one described in the link, I’ll take a punt on that.

Do the engine under trays make much difference, or just collect crud.

I have them fitted on my French registered 6.1 PV as standard.

@Skyliner33 Not much protection apart from crud, it didn't prevent road debris going through my DSG gearbox and a €11k bill !!

Mine protects the belts etc on the lower front of the engine - can't believe they aren't standard fit.

I do lots of driving on unpaved roads and when I removed the covers to do work under the van I was surprised how clean the underside of the engine was .( 5 year old van.)
The front cover protects the belt from damage too.
I think they are a worthwhile addition and if I damaged one would replace it.
