T6.1 amo key tool. How to remove?

Hi! I have watched lots of yt videos and it seems so easy to remove the tool to put the amp back in place. But it seems like my keys are stuck! I must be doing something wrong. Please help!

Presumably you've given the snatch keys a good wiggle while pushing them gently towards the outside of the unit?

Seem to recall they lock in once inserted. You need to depress the silver catch on the side of the unit in to release them

they have locked, but not pushing on the silver catch is releasing them haha
