So, I'm heading towards 1,500 miles now in my 21 plate Ocean so starting to test the power a little, it certainly has the power it just does not always want me to use it! Sometimes in 1st or 2nd I accelerate and it flies, sometimes its doesn't, most noticable is say at 50mpy onwards, if you floor it (even past the notch in the pedal) it just does nothing, however if you are using the adaptive cruise control when 'it' wants to get up to speed it flies, had the ACC is sport originally and had to change to a lower setting as way to harsh!
For obvious warranty reasons I don't want to map either the engine of gearbox, however I was wondering if a Racechip, DTE etc pedal box would help, I had an A45 a few years back and it had a real lag when setting off and one of these really fixed that.
Its a Cali at the end of the day so I'm not wanting to race around, but when you are say on a motorway and want to use the power it has it would be nice to know it will let me!
