We are new to the VW scene, we have a kombi T32 204bhp, we would like to change the stock 17" for a black alloy 19" 20" so I have read the threads about the pro's and con's and would like to hear from those more experienced of what to go for and where from. The van is being converted by me ' and others' to a camper for the wife and I, it's not lowered as we like like the ride. Thank you. Geoff

Hi there.
You will need a minimum of a 103 load rating for a T32.
I have never run 20" wheels but they look a little daft if you're not lowered at all in my opinion.
I would honestly contemplate a shock / springs combo from somewhere like @CRS Performance , that will give you a much better ride with a subtle drop for improved handling.
19" wheels with a reasonable profile tyre will look good.

You will need a minimum of a 103 load rating for a T32.

And the wheels themselves will need to be rated at or above 860kgs.

Lots of useful information in here.

Get yourself down to @BognorMotors for your wheels and suspension work... Oli will look after you and has plenty of vehicles to test drive ;)

Welcome . Can you clarify the comment about lowering , are you saying you like the ride height as it is ? your intro wasn't clear ? We do lots of kits for standard height as well as lowered , improvements in all aspects of the vans handling and comfort . . We only specialise in Suspension and most of the vehicles we work on are Transporters 40 to 60 a month , we dont charge for advise so if you need help , we can . .
