T28 spring and shock ‘upgrade’

Hello. I’m not overly happy with my current ride height. It’s just the std t28 set up but fully converted so I suspect I have a saggy arse. I was thinking lowering springs but fear the ride will be harsher.
I have zero intentions of adjusting coilovers once on however I heard that may ‘upgrading’ to a decent set of shocks will work.

I’m not looking to be decked, simply reducing the arch gap at the front (and level all round) is what I’m seeking advice for

Thank you

Another  for @CRS Performance
Spoke to him last week and advised me the best way to to tackle the same issue as you.
I've even got the wife on board into getting the van lowered.
If my local conversion place can't match Steve on price then I'll be making the 4hr round trip to his place very soon.
This is uncanny i too have had the same problem spoke to Steve and CRS Performance and booked my van in Thursday for upgrades: I’ll update the thread once fitted.

@Cuffy I wouldn’t even consider not making that four hour round trip…. yes your local conversion place might come out cheaper, but Steve and his team are suspension specialists and highly regarded for a reason.

That's what I'm thinking. The one local to me, Big V Kampers are award winning conversion specialists and their suspension guru is also award winning.
The only issue I have is they stock either the Bilstein or Van Slam, the afore mentioned is pricey and the latter, I've read some negative reviews.
Steve mentioned the KW set up which I'm favouring towards.
If I hadn't have just bought the van, along with having a new kitchen fitted, bathroom redone and garden landscaped then air ride might have been on the cards :slow rofl::rofl:

I met the very friendly Big V guys at Busfest recently…. amazing looking vans on air, but for ‘real life’ everyday practicalities, Steve is definitely your man. I’m not sure what the difference’s are between the KW and the Koni setup, but you can’t go wrong with Steve’s advice.

Cheers guys, will be good to get everyone’s opinions on this. I’m based in Aberdeen but happy to travel if it’s the route I need to take to get my saggy/stilty van sitting better

Aberdeen would be a long old trek, always the option to do a couple of stopovers on-route I suppose.
One option that Steve @CRS Performance does is that you can buy the kit from him and take it to your local garage and he will guide them over the phone on the fitting and set up of your new suspension. Definitely worth giving him a ring.

Consensus is rarely achieved on this forum, but there are a small number of trade members who receive consistently glowing feedback - @CRS Performance is one such trader. Search for his tag and read for yourself.

Good evening all had my Bilsitens B14 Coilovers taken off my T6 last Thursday and replaced with H&R adjustable fitted by CRS Performance (Steve and his team) the ride quality is beyond my expectations, quality rwith no noise when travelling over speed bumps. Steve explained what iIneeded to improve the ride quality (I’m in his world) Many thanks to Steve and his team at CRS Performance highly recommended company no affiliation

Glad to hear you are happy with the new set-up.
Roll on Friday when I visit @CRS Performance.

CRS did mine yesterday. Complete new setup, plus some arb bushes too. All done in just over an hour. Couldn’t be happier. Lovely team, great price and a different van altogether now.
I was running van slam coil overs on the front and van slam shocks on the rear with t32 lowering springs. Worked really well until the added mass of the conversion. All done total 4K miles if anyone is looking for a decent deal.

The 4hr journey was well worth it.
Can't speak highly enough of Steve and the team
STX Coilover kit fitted, some places I spoke to wanted to sell me a more expensive option with added extras.
Can't believe the difference in ride, no more nodding dog when I hit a bump in the road.
Glad I went there now.

What wheels are those? Looking really good.
Range Rover Vogue 20".
I wasn't keen on them when I picked it up.
Since I fitted the sidebars earlier this week, they grew on me, once Steve had worked his magic I'm loving the look of them now.
