Swivel seat base and heated passenger seat

Got a heated passenger seat recently, also have a swivel base just trying to work out how to run the cable to stop it twisting up etc. Anyone done it before ??

Is the seat a double or a single? If it’s a double then the only way is to connect/disconnect externally. If it’s a single then depending on the swivel used you can usually feed the cables up through the centre

I get the impression you’ve got a single. If so, just always swivel back the opposite way.

I’m currently working on a double swivel solution.

Hi all,

Hope you can help, trying to fit a double swivel in my t6.1 which has heated seats.

If I just disconnect the wire will I get an error code or will it be fine?

If its just the heated seats you'll be fine, if you've got an airbag you can disconnect but don't turn on the ignition until you reconnect.
