Struggles with motorway speed.

The vehicle does not sound right though it is difficult to compare mine is a 199 but not that different. If you are carrying stuff on the roof to be fair it needs taking off temporarily and running naked for a while. perhaps find a v good independent but they might not want to know if it has been tampered with. Mine has told me that he does not like certain things being fiddled with or mapped and he is a really good guy very efficient and full of common sense Not a supporter of removing environmental gear for a number of reasons and your not the fist to have some problems with tuners and those doing the defeats and delete. In the health world it can be a bit similar also plenty of conspiracy theories being supported by poor science proposed by someone who knows someone. These vehicles are incredibly complicated compared to what we had in the past, fiddle with one thing and who knows how it affects some other component. Their must be only a small handful of proper well educated tuners in these island yet we can get plug, in down load that, you name it, things to pep this up or loose that from any number of outlets who are not real tuners at all just plug in a chip or download something merchants.

I really do hope that you can sort this for your own piece of mind and well being and that you can get on with driving and living with it. Best of good luck :)
Cheers. I totally agree. The body work done on the van when it was partly changed from commercial was horrendous, so I don't trust their deletes. I had to undo so much of their "work". Half the work I've done has been restoring the van itself.
When I have the money, I'll find somewhere reputable to go over the deletes to make sure everything is done correctly.
Like you say, they're so complicated, a tweak here messes up something over there. So it has to be done properly.

How much extra height does the box and the rack add to the van?
Same width as the van?
box is 40cm from the roof itself and the rack has a fairing.
The width is a little less than the roof of the van

Yours is a single turbo T6? If so then these where not prone to the turbo and engine problems of ill fame. It might be as well to restore it to normal and have it well serviced. Talking to some well respected people that do not feel that any of these thing deletes and such are going to do much more than make someone feel like they have done something for the better and feel goo but if was due to happen then it still will regardless. hope that you get it sorted.:)

40cm above the roof and what looks like the boxy Sportline front end is adding a significant area to what is already a non streamline vehicle.

yeah, single turbo. In hindsight, I get the feeling the deletes were only helping the dealer in case anything went wrong within the warranty..

Agreed. I already have a more normal bumper to fit, I don't like the sportline - it gives a bad angle of attack.

However, I do know that the van was lacking in power before all these negative aerodynamic additions.
Knowing this, I'll continue to pursue what the issue is, however small.

Thanks for all your input.
