yes same airbag and loom ,and to be fair it worked straight away no programing .
seats are out of a scirocco 2016 type R , i need to make some extending brakets to fit them .

Strange if it worked before then may be worth taking it off again see if anythings dropped off

Very nice...

yea thanks for that , its exactly the same wheel .....other than the paddle shift and flat bottom ! just wondering if it needs to be reprogrammed !

There is no programming you can do to them as far as i know , just plug and play. As you have the same bag and wires and it worked before.

yes thanks for that studleyglass , i got a mate who is a technician in a vw van dealers and thats exactly what he told me , so its strange that its lost its continuity .
to slightly change the thread !! do you know if i could connect the electrical part of my new seats to get that part to work ?

Did you have heated seats before, got buttons on dash ? If so you may be able to reconnect them

No ,but i was thinking to get the proper switches for the dash , the connectors on the seats are almost the same as the connectors under the passenger seat , a few more wires !! the seats are from a 2016 scirocco type R , so when i bought them 6 months ago ,i thought they may go straight in ........NO

Dash switches are part of the AC panel and you have to swop the whole thing, its hundreds !
