Steering wheel height adjustment

Hi,

I have a 2018 T6 and I'm finding the steering wheel position uncomfortable on longer drives. I've adjusted it to be as low as possible, and raised the seat height, but still find my wrists aching during long drives - it not a painful ache, just uncomfortable.
Has anyone else had this issue and how did you remove it?
I did wonder if there was any retro fit kits on the market to extend the range of the steering wheel height adjuster, but couldn't didn't find any on the web when I searched.

Thanks

I have set my wheel low and forward. Seat lifted slightly. So I have a slight arm bend. And I tend to rest one arm on the left seat rest, and the other on the top of the door. So far it’s working for me.

Thanks for the rep[y. I've tried quite a few combinations of adjustments - I guess I'll carry on trying small combinations of seat and steering wheel adjustments, until I find the best combination for me.

Do you use the armrests?
I find my T6 pretty comfortable with the seat fully raised, manual gear shift and wheel control with use of the armrest.
I’m no medic but maybe strengthen your arms to deal with it, not many other options if the van doesn’t adjust to your needs.

It seems to be to do with the angle my wrists sit at when holding the wheel, so using the armrests doesn’t seem to make any difference. I’ll continue to experiment with different combinations of seat height and wheel position - I’m sure I’ll find a good position eventually.

Silly question but is your tracking right. Are you pulling the steering wheel straight to compensate. If you let go briefly does the van track straight.

Tracking is good, when I let go of the wheel the van stays straight, even when I brake.

I drove mine quite a bit yesterday. And although not as extreme as you mention I felt some minor strain in my wrists. No pain this morning, but I put it down to my body needing to get used to a more sort of upright driving position.

Just for info I did about 250mls in mine yesterday. No aches or pains. But I changed hand positions every so often, usually resting my arms on the left armrest and top of the door. It was a comfy drive, apart from the lack of soundproofing in the back which I was on my way to get resolved 😀
