I just received my Stance+ coilovers today in Australia (took 10 days) and I’m happy with the build quality and finish for the price. I’m used to high end and custom suspension on my track cars and the anodizing, paint and welds looks pretty good. Will post more pics when installed but here are some of the components.

Looking good mate... excellent effort.. your suggested alterations are IMO spot on.

Before and after. Back might to come up a bit and I’m happy with the front which is at full low although with the hub mod (grind away the lip that holds up the strut) it could go a lot lower. I still have to use this thing as a van.
Ride and handling is vastly improved and doesn’t feel like it’s going to rollover anymore.

Much better.
Looks sweet.
I'm not sure I've seen those wheels before. Were they a factory order? I assume they are 18" but they actually look bigger.

Looking good

Rims look like Devonports without the black plastics fitted ?

They are 18s off an Amarok with 255/45/18 Bridgestone RE003 (disregard the tire pictured)

Hey mate I installed these on my t5 yesterday, all went sweet and drives good but the rear springs are making a creaking sound, I'm just unsure I put that little rubber gasket that comes with the kit in the right spot..
Did you install it between the spring and the adjuster or the adjuster and the chassis?

Between the spring and adjuster. I also slapped on some lithium grease on all contact points.

Early days I know @RedDragonAus but how are you getting on with these? I’ve heard good reviews from others that have used them but the cynic in me thinks, for that price, they might appear too good to be true.

@tomosland same question to you - and did you get rid of that creaking sound?

5,000 km and still happy with them. In fact I had another set arrive yesterday for my business partner’s new van so we will have 2 sets fitted.

I cut some thicker more durable rubber and have it between both the chassis and adjuster, and the adjuster and spring. I found the adjuster had some minor movement on the chassis.. Fixed the noise and sits together more firm. Also done over 5,000kms and everything holding up nicely and drives sweet.
