Thanks very interesting!

Am I being dumb but I thought peak torque was 450nm on the 204 engine? That's higher than the gearbox spec.

450Nm Max torque

i have a MY18.

204ps/150kw engine - Address 01: Engine (2D2D2-CXEB)

and 7 spd DSG box - Address 02: Auto Trans - Part No SW: 0BT 300 046 J HW: 0BH 927 711 G

as you say the CXEB shows 450Nm . . .

but my readout shows 0BH . . . . .

so the older version is 0BT 2010>

then 0GC ?

now 0BH ?

This gearbox is based on the dual clutch gearbox 0BH/0BT. Please refer to SSP 454 “The 7-speed dual clutch gearbox 0BT in the T5 2010” for information on the design and function.

maybe this explains it . . : Darkside Developments - DSG Remapping

DQ500 - 0BH / 0BT
This is a heavier transverse 7 speed DSG and is built to support up to 600 Nm (440 lb/ft) from the factory. It can be found in the VW Transporter, Tiguan, Audi RS3, TT-RS and Q3, it is also fitted to the Passat 2.0 BiTDI. The DQ500 gearbox is the strongest transverse DSG within the VAG group. Therefore, this one is used on heavier vehicles and models with high power / torque outputs.

The DQ500 can handle up to 800hp/1000Nm with DSG software and upgraded clutch packs.
