Squealing Tensioner Auxiliary Belt issues..

Hi all, I joined the group to try to get some insight into a squealing tensioner, auxiliary belt shredding problem. I’ve had VW replace two belts and tensioners since Sep17 when I got the van. The second belt was replaced in Dec18 and VW said a further replacement was no longer covered under warranty because I drive off-road in the van. (I drive down a short dirt track most days for work) That belt shredded a week ago and I’ve had it replaced by an independent on Friday and it’s shredded once again losing power steering and battery light coming on etc. This seems to be fairly well documented on here, just wondering if anyone has actually come to a satisfactory long term solution to this issue.. Do you have protective cover fitted under the engine ?

Take it to another dealer, don’t mention driving off road (not that it should make any difference)
