squeaky pop top

Being new to the VW campervan world I have a 2016, low milage T6 that's been converted to a very high spec fitted with a Reimo Easy Fit roof and it squeaks all the time, not sure ho, if at all normal this is (if it is normal it's not, in my opiunion a very good design)?
Please can anyoneelse advise and if you know of it is there any video info on what is and what isn't normal regards roof squeaks|?
We had the same with our LWB easy fit. It was the roof bed where it sits on the plastic side frame. A small piece of self adhesive foam cured it.

Yeah squeaky roof and creeks cured.
My issue was one of the scissor hinges had moved meaning the roof was sitting off centre so the rubber seal wasn't seated evenly on the top of the roof.
Having spoken with the company who fitted the roof whom were not helpful I contacted Reimo direct in Germany where they were very helpful and advised I should contact CMC in Kent which I duly did (as Reimo also did on y behalf).
Visited on Saturday morning as they opened and within 60 minutes of the van being in their workshop all was fixed.
Both Reimo and CMC Kent get 5 stars from me where the company who fitted the roof (who were not Reimo trained) I for one wouldn't use if ever I needed a roof fitted.

my squeeky roof is really annoying me , is silcone wax the same as silicone lubricant ? I have a tin of WD-40 SPECIALIST® WATER RESISTANT SILICONE LUBRICANT at home and I would like to use that if it is ok ? if not then I will have to buy some wax ?

Hi all any body got/had a squeaky pop top,
at its worst going up or down Multistorey
car parks ??
The bed board is probably rubbing in the poptop frame, that’s what I found on my Reimo.
I re-aligned it and fitted rubber pads on the front corners, problem fixed.

while this is an old thread its still a current issue. Driving my Van is sometimes like being accompanied by a Budgy in full voice. It only happens on the LHS which is coincidental where the Fiamma awning brackets are fitted. Have epoxied some rubber strips on the brackets to give rubber on rubber rather than rubber on metal, contact. Will see if that kills the Budgy.

Drive from Gloucester to Tavistock a lot quieter and the noise is defiantly where the poptop rubber meets the Fiamma F45. A few more rubber strips and the Budgy will have ceased to function....it will be no longer.

Solved my annoying squeaks by cutting up two inch width lengths of an old exercise mat and laying them between the pop top bed board and the roof.
