Hi guys has anyone else experienced a harsh and bouncy ride fitted the nsl kit ? Current set up is 70 mm drop with 20” alloys 265/40/20 tyres
Thanks really not pleased with atm

The back to back tests we have done show that the KONI shocks in the H&R kit are the better performers , we have been saying this for a long time . Marketing and media pages do sometimes create biased reviews and can be misleading ,Plenty of people seem to like the NSL's , can you get the same ride height with the H&R ?
OOPS , Sorry to hear this , There is no magic wand in this industry to get vans super low and super comfy , it just cant happen . The damping rates will make the ride as good as it can be made for the heights the kit can do . We know KONI have the best damper technology and that is why the H&R kit feels good , Some manufacturers slack off the low speed damping forces to try and get more comfort , results arent better unfortunately .So my old van has h and r and that was pretty good, though I would try the solow this time as everyone raves about them. Yes fitted with the longer drop links from thq
The B8 is a hi pressure gas mono tube damper , i dont think these kits are. Mono tube hi pressure shocks are notoriously firm and expensive.H&R are a superior damper…
I’d be telling you to adjust your damping rate, but you can’t can you?
NSL’s aren’t anything special IMO, just a chopped B8
70 mm is with in the range of the kit so you haven't increased the pre load and this isnt the issue !We installed them ourselves, the only thing I can think that might be effecting the ride is that they are setting at a 70mm drop which means using quite a lot of pre load on the spring. The ride is t horrendous I must admit but I was shocked that they just feel like a std b14which in my opinion is a pretty harsh ride especially around what is left of the Oxfordshire roads now it could be that our local roads are just terrible and that it what it is. My hr/koni was noticeably more compliant and softer set at 80mm drop.
Sorry Steve your just angling for an arguement on here as you do on pretty much every Facebook forum I've seen you on.70 mm is with in the range of the kit so you haven't increased the pre load and this isnt the issue !
I would however like to know what Chris's Kind offer to check it out would include and how he could improve it ?? , No damping adjustability so changing height would be all that could be done I guess .
