Smev 9222 hob depth

Hi all,

I'm struggling to find dimensions for the depth of s gas hob needed below the counter.

Specifically the smev 9222 or similar unit.

Anyone know where to find this info? Or have one?

Good question. Lots of dimensions for the depth of the sink online, but not the hob.

This is from my installation manual, which includes the 9222S (my hob/sink combo).

Important to note the following, a 30 mm distance between underside and next unit.



It doesn't actually say what depth, just that the gap should be > 30 mm.



I would guess about 20mm from the top of the worktop, but I can have a measure sometime tomorrow.

If you could measure that would be fantastic as nowhere seems to give the depth, just depth of sink as you say!

Difficult to do with a drawer in the way, but my estimates:

FROM TOP SURFACE OF WORKTOP:
20mm worktop depth
30mm body depth (underside of the shaped steel) from underside of the worktop
10mm sticking out bits, including the nuts where the gas feeds in.

Looking at the drawing from the manual, I think you ignore the bottom bits, so the required gap between planes is only 'D' (30mm) plus 30mm to the underside of the worktop, assuming 20mm depth
