Sliding Door Stiff To Open

My Kombi has twin sliding doors. One opens and closes easy enough, the other needs a good tug to open the latch.. When closing it needs a decent push to get it to close all the way. I don't think its the runner. Any suggestions? Thanks

Check the door hasn't dropped and binding?

Yep, a few vans have suffered with a dropped door, including mine.
The middle runner had come loose and was sat on the pain work. It was rubbing whenever you opened/closed the door.
Warranty repair if it's the case. Including respray of effected area.

doesn't seem to have dropped or be rubbing, once sliding its fine, it seems to be more the latch that is stiff

Do you mean that the handle itself is hard to pull, and you get the feeling that you could pull the handle off?

figured it out ... greased the rear side of the sliding mechanism ... much better now
