Slide pod info needed please

I pick up my Kombi tomorrow morning and due to severe wallet emptying I'm mulling over a few ideas regarding my camper dream.
I'm now thinking about going down the slidepod route instead of a full camper conversion. Being a total novice I have a few questions the first being how is the pod powered?
I have been looking at the threads from Absolut5 regarding carpet lining and I'm very impressed. Is it possible to have the Kombi fitted with an electrical system then carpet lined, then the pod could be powered by I presume a leisure battery?
I have been digesting as much info as my poor head can take and I'm getting all confused! Help!!!

The Slidepod runs of a standard 12v cig socket, you can power that socket however you like, leisure battery being the optimum setup

I’m having slidepods do Lesuire battery and lining on my new T6 with a view to getting them to fit a pod next year sometime , from what I understand the pod is powered by the second Battery ,

Yeah they are nice guys down there very helpful and only 10 mins from my house which is a bonus !
