Wondering what poeples thoughts are regarding if its worth fitting a sink or not?

Oh, never thought about that.Where do you keep the washing up bowl and fairy liquid if you don’t have a sink?

It's a useful space for us. The kettle & 2 mugs live in it. It's handy for chucking frozen food in to defrost when we're skiing. If making a brew on the move, the mugs are placed in the sink whilst the brew is brewed, so any spillage goes straight down the plug and not into the van. Teeth brushing and face washing when in stealth mode would be awkward without it. For us, it's a multi purpose useful space that we wouldn't be without.
Not done my interior on this van yet but when I do, I will be fitting a sink. I just think they are really handy for brushing teeth, washing up quickly etc. It wont be the most used item in your camper but it will be handy to have.
I plan on having one thats recessed with a board over it so it looks flush when not in use like so.....

If I fit a hob it will be induction like the photo that @T6ChrisO posted, so not needing the gas locker etc.
I don’t have a sink and so did mine. Maybe the sink is irrelevant
Had a sink in the old conversion, took it out in the new as we always wash up outside, the only time I would have another sink and we have in the second van is if we have an underslung water tank, as having that water instead of carrying bottles around is rather handy.
I rarely used camp sites but do spend months in my van every year. The washing up is done in a bucket (the most versatile tool in the van). The sink is used to rinse, wash hands, veg’ etc.
If you rarely use the van or never cook I can see why you might not want one.
However I would think about the resale, having what many regard as part of the standard kit missing might put buyers off.

Take a look at Camper Conversion Company in Lincolnshire - Knights Custom, they done mine with induction hob and most of their sinks are larger than a typical camping fridge, but recessed into the units some with black glass covers, some with wood worktop type finish.
We have a sink fitted.
But in my opinion it's more about the plumbing and whether you have an onboard tanks or not.
We decided to just use a freshwater 20 litre container in the cupboard, with a 20 l great waste next to it.
So we just fell and empty both tanks as required before we go and after we come back from a trip.
This means that we haven't had to drill a hole in the floor for any great ways to drain outside.
For the next stage we will extend the waste so it drains through the floor onto an external collapsible bucket.
But we'll keep the freshwater on a removable model because I don't like the idea about in onboard water tanks that get all skanky and mouldy and rank.
