Side window pin not locking in

Hi,
I got a used 2017 Caravelle which has an odd side window issue with it not locking into closed position. This is on the left passenger side, there is no door. When the window is shut, it doesn’t hold the “closed” position and the window slides open at higher speed or if someone pushed the window from outside. I did spot that the window isn’t fully flush on the outside when shut (pictures attached).

I have aleeady replaced the window lock internals incl. springs, etc. using the repair kit but not the rubber seal.
Looking closer at the lock-in holes on the plastic frame, it’s evident that there is no hole for the pins to lock-in at the shut/closed position. The closest one is about 1cm from the fully shut position, I imagine for secure ventilation?! Is this normal, do you have any ideas how is this possible?
Could it be that the curved vertical metal retention at the end of the shut position has moved or bent for some reason?

Hwre are a couple of vidwo links of the issue:

Thanks for any advice

Hi all, just a quick update on the fix...
It turned out to be a stiff window gasket. Interestingly the gasket feels like not made of usual door rubber material but more like EPDM (more like plastic material). Once I have removed the side-window and removed the gasket, then popped the side-window back onto to the car (without the gasket) the locking mechanism just jumped into its place and the window was fully locked. After this test, I have carefully cleaned the gasket-channel on the window (out of gunk and any old sealant) and placed the gasket back into the window without sealant and pressed it properly into the channel. Once this was done and window re-fitted the locking of the window works perfectly.

I think the issue was too much of the sealant in the channel which didn't allow the gasket to sit in well into the channel. Hope this helps someone...
