Well here is a snippet of the one I had stolen three years ago being recovered in my home town!!!! It’s got a few minor distinctive features that they don’t appear to have tried to hide just cloned it onto another plate.

Picked up my T5.1 at an online auction for dirty cheap / non runner. Flat battery with gearbox issues... stuck in 2nd gear. One input speed shaft sensor swap later, she is running again. Top mounts left & right were also split, so in came a set of Stance+ and of course I had to change the wheels! A few electrical bugs and a set of new taillights later, back end is looking good again too. Headlights are next and gotta do something with the bumper... but unsure what exactly yet (suggestions welcome). Looked into a T6.1 front end swap, but this would be a little too much for a T5.1 with 205tkm on the clock. 2 quick snapshots where its at to dateView attachment 300063View attachment 300064

Found them !

It looks excellent with 205km. Makes me happier still with mine on 160km. But mine still drives as tight as a drum. All it did was drive up and down the motorway.

Private plate on my van cost me about £350 all in from the DVLA website, its my wifes name Kelly (KE11) and my youngest son Jaxon(JAX) we found it by mistake, we was looking for something with the wifes name and maybe DUB or VW related for the last 3 letters and the one thats on the van now popped up and we knew we had to buy it.

Went round gritting everyone's drives in winter...


Joking apart it was really useful. Huge storage! Thule BackUp Box on a Thule Easy Base. Had it sprayed to match from the original grey.

Lady who bought the van came back a few weeks later and bought the box / base. ( Image is her taking it away, my new van in background )

Good job too as the yellow would never have gone with the new silver van!
