Just found a few pics of my pride and joys of yesteryears ,, i must be old ,,,,lol
1974,, 260 ZX
Not exactly yesteryears however my second vehicle and possibly my favourite.
My first VW, regret selling her, wish I still had her.
What about the van?
Haha... I still have that one, that one was a keeper and did not suffer with a rusty chassis.
Miss this sooooooo much
I had this last century...
Can’t find any of my MK1 Capri
My trusty T4
Nope, mine was bronze with “go faster” orange and yellow stripes.
I had one of these with its variable 3 speed auto boxes..
Not as old as some of you boys but bought this brand new just over 9 years ago and still go to bed every night regretting selling it. They go for more money now than I paid back then.
If you don’t know it was the fastest FWD car to ever lap the ring (2009) and came from the factory with plastic windows, roll cage, fixed carbon seats and carbon bonnet, road legal slicks and no radio! Oh and mine was spec’d with the £2500 optional turbo back titanium exhaust.
Remapped it and was never passed. Tracked Silverstone (old layout), Croft, Rockingham and there’s a video on YouTube of a clio track car chasing me at Caldwell that’s worth a watch!
Renaultsport Megane R26.R
Bit noisy! Been a while since I’ve watched it
my old GT6 MK 2 ,, The photo was takin in the street they used for the film Billy Elliot LOL
My Dad in a car he built entirely from wood just after WW2 demob - as I recall his story it had a Villiers two-stroke:
This isnt my exact car but very similar apart from mine didn’t have the lower spotlights, I don’t have any original photos of it.
This was the 1st of 3 xr3i’s I owned.
