Shocked and amazed!

So driving to get my parents weekly shopping this morning a kamikazi pheasant decided to end it all and take out my upper grill. It did a proper job of it too, grill and badge obliterated!

Just phoned my local vw garage, new grill including badge £56 + vat!! I still can't quite believe it I thought that bill would run into hundreds especially as eBay sellers have used ones at £100 buy it now!

There's a lesson in this for everyone, check your local tps or vw garage first before buying "cheaper" used parts.

Bloody thing took off, and flew away! I don't think it would have survived though, theres a big smear mark on my bumper where it initially hit and there was an explosion of feathers.
Love a bit of game bird though!

At that price it’s almost cheaper to buy a new grill And spray up the badge than get an aftermarket badge
