Secondary Air Injection Valve N112 – where do I find it?

Hey there!

OBD2 diagnostics report has flagged an issue on the CAN Gateway:
"01044 – Secondary air injection valve-N112 short circuit"

I've found some pictures of the valve on various VAG engines, so I know I'm looking for a box with a little vacuum hose going in and out.

But I can't find any details of where it is located on the T5.1 2.0 TDI (CAAB)

Planning to poke it with volt meter to see if there's any activity, and check the fuse/relay if I can find out which one it is.

Appreciate any help

I'm afraid there is no such a thing on CAAB engine.
Instead for the CAN Gateway I would expect the code to mean:
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded

Well that explains why I couldn't find it :)

I do have a "Control Module Incorrectly Coded" 01044 error as a second issue on the CAN gateway, but thought that was for the towbar electrics I've just fitted and need to set up in the trailer functions.

Thanks for the quick response @mmi
