RUST! 1997 T4

My sister (91 years old.) and her daughter, purchased the VW a few months ago, and discovered shortly afterwards, lots of rust, and quite a few holes. The left it with a welding shop, and after 6 weeks, discovered nothing had been done, so the question is, does anyone in the Skegness area, know of a reliable welder, mobile, or otherwise, who might take on the job. Any help, greatly appreciated.

A VW what?
Van, car, camper? lf it's a "classic" i.e very old, then you probably need to look at a car restoration company as many garages won't do "corrosion damage" on classic vehicles.

Even the earliest T6's will still by under the anti-corrosion warranty. I'd be off to the dealers first off.

I would be tempted to try and find a specialist in VW repair if possible.
lt depends on whether you want a proper repair or just patching up for another 12 months MOT

I've not heard of this? What does it involve? I've got a mark near the bottom of where the sliding door goes which I'm worried may rust.

I should have also stated its a T4 1997. Please excuse my ramblings, as I am 81 years old!.
