Rubber ‘spoiler’ along top of windscreen and cracked screen.

Driving down the motorway last night I heard a load noise as something hit the windscreen. Thought nothing more of it.
Then this morning after a short drive with the heated screen on and the air on on high to demise the screen, after a short stop to buy a bit of breakfast, when I got back in I noticed the screen has 10” ish crack coming from a large chip. 😡

Now my screen has a rubber strip along the top to act to deflect air above the pop top.

So obviously I will need to take this off (I am assuming it will be quite easy) but then the big question is what should I use to stick it back on with?

Suggestions and ideas welcome.

This is the rubber strip.

CT1 or similar?
I believe it’s pretty much what auto window fitters use anyway, why not get it refitted along with the windscreen?

Thanks. I was hoping for something like a double sided tape for ease of application, but if I can’t find any that might be worth a go. Or I suppose Sikaflex or similar.
