Roof Pelmet Panel Fixings

I'd like to add some roof pelmet panels either side in our van. Struggling to think how to fix them up so thinking of using this stuff:-

3M Scotch SJ 3550 dual lock hook and loop, 1 m x 25.4 mm https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00D6OI99G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_qy6oCb2DT21BX

I've seen used for roof panels on boats, any thoughts/ suggestions/ alternatives?
