Roamer 144 - under seat?

I'm looking at doing a straight swap from my AGM leisure battery to a lithium one.

Has anyone fitted a Roamer 144 under the seat? With my tape measurer, it looks as if it should JUST fit.

The 105 would be an easier fit, but as there's only £100 between them in price now the extra capacity may be nice to have.

I had a similar question, and after measuring several times, as well as a chat with support, I think it will fit.
Ordered ours this morning, and hope to fit over the next couple of weeks. Will report back...

Don’t forget to double check your mains charger is lithium compatible?!

That’s good to know….. as I think the 230ah Roamer will be the one I go for and my current charger isn’t lithium compatible

I've just had email confirmation that it will fit as well, and can be mounted upright or on its side, so just need to order it now!

We spent four weeks last June/July in France and didn't use hook up once... yes it was sunny but our poor little Waeco compressor fridge was on 24/7!
Where are your ancillaries placed? Currently I have my ablemail, dc-dc and mppt under the seat as well. I've been looking at the smaller ones as I'd prefer to keep them under the seat if possible.

The Renogy DCC50S which is a combination mppt and b2b charger is under there as are all of the fuses, the Renogy smart shunt and neutral bar, the battery isolator is on a panel across the front of the seat base, it's tight.

This was when swapping out the first v1 DCC50S that failed, the later model in there now has a larger heatsink also I reduced the charging capacity down from it's potential 50A to a calmer 30A although in normal use with the solar turned on the through charge is always divided 50-50 between the alternator and solar.
You can see the isolator to the right and the 2kw inverter on the left with an out of shot Victron 30A IP22 charger sat alongside... I've literally used the Victron maybe twice, once for an initial charge to full and again following the death of the first DCC50S.

Did you do this? All working ok with no mods?
