hi I'm upgrading from a t5 to t6 and wanted to know if my rns 510 will work in the t6 and also will I be able to retrofit a genuine rear view camera to it

Haven't tried it, but the pins in the quadlock plug are in different locations

Right so it won't be plug & play then Could you recommend a good head unit that would be ok ?

@Berger a genuine VW rear view camera should be OK with the High line trim but will need coding I believe with something like VCDS.

I've got 1 on my t5 would it be worth keeping it for the t6 ?

Genuine VW cameras can be retrofitted if you have a VW headunit but the T6 is different to the T5 (kenwood) one, if you go aftermarket stereo the connections will be different you may be able to get an adapter or would need an aftermarket camera to match the stereo connection

Ok thanks for the advice I've got a guy that retrofits Vw bits he fitted the camera on my t5 and fitted me a multi functional wheel I'll ask him if I can't be done they can always go on eBay I
