Rim Savers - experiences

They are not recommended for diamond cut or polished finishes. They can trap water and speed up the white worm process.
 
They are ok until they are scuffed and then look crap until you replace them, don't bother and when your wheels are all scuffed get them powder coated.
or just don't let the wife drive it :eek:
 
I had a set of these sort of things a couple of years ago, there'll be a thread on here somewhere. Two or more (can't remember) flew off on the motorway and the the remnants of the 3M tape left stuck to the wheel were an absolute b#st#rd to get off! Think they were called Rimblades.
