Another thumbs up for Steve and his son they replaced my van’s suspension with H&R coilovers 2 weeks ago and my wife said that the van now drives like a luxury car.

Again, another recommendation to crs performance from myself.
Yesterday, I travelled across from essex to have my van lowered on Steve's recommended koni definition kit.
Opted for the 40mm drop.
What a fantastic chap steve and his son jim (think that's his name) are.
Complete enthusiasts, and nothing is too much trouble.
If you are looking to lower the van, just call steve.
He actually listens to your needs and gives you a range of options to choose from.

I'm glad you wrote this. I've been convincing myself I need to ditch the 20's and get a set of 17's.This is where I am currently with my Caravelle, it's on std caravelle shocks and -30mm Sportline springs, which actually has resulted in 70mm lower than std at the front! It's on the std 235/55 17" wheels too so nothing low profile!
Motorway joints are... Ok. And smooth roads are great... That's about it
Every ripple, or slightly raised drain cover is felt, broken tarmac makes the van shudder and rattle, tarmac joints across the road are met with a 'KER-DUNK!!" and proper potholes, oh man - it feels and sounds like something has just hit the van!
If you see a black T6 swerving all over the road in Kent, it's probably me trying to find some smooth tarmac!
I'm getting booked in for the CRS treatment in a couple of weeks, thank god!
I bough the van with the 20's already fitted. By the sounds of it, I'd be no better off with 17's.
New suspension time then....
Do not change wheels till you have fixed the suspension !! you will be nicely surprised

I’ve just bought a T6.1 150 to replace my Sportline T5.1. Mine was one of the first 5.1 Sportline’s with the proper lowered suspension before they took it back up to a 30mm drop due to load issues. This was never a problem for me as I never carried any weight. I wanted to get my new van dropped to match my old Sportline and did the research. CRS seemed to be the one and they were an hour from me. Went to CRS this morning with my std T30 unloaded suspension bouncing down the road to get new springs fitted to give it the Sportline look. While there Steve explained in a non pressurising way what the difference would be if I also had his dampers fitted. I decided to go that route and I’m glad I did, the difference is night and day! Much smoother on any surface and soaks up the bumps like magic.
If anyone is considering putting a set of springs on them I’d recommend speaking to Steve. He’s got 14 type of springs and will explain why off the shelf springs might not give you what you’re expecting. The CRS springs are about the same cost as others I’ve seen btw.

Just thought I would provide my opinion here in case someone is considering upgrading their suspension. If you are in the market for Coilovers then I would highly recommend giving CRS Performance a shout.

Comfortable Suspension (My Opinion)
Just thought I would provide my opinion here in case someone is considering upgrading their suspension. I have a T6.1 T32 Kombi, running on 18" wheels, which now carries very little weight. Soon after I had the van, I installed Eibach Comfort adjustable lowering springs and had the van dropped...

Steve and team managed to solve an ongoing clunk noise within my front suspension. All done in the space of a few hours on a Saturday morning. They also tweaked my spring/shock combo to make it perform even better. Brilliant drive home!
Great service from one of the very few people that I trust to work on my van with a very fair and transparent price.

I've never had a smile on my face when handing over that amount of money before but my god it is worth it. There's not much that hasn't already been said in this thread that I can add to.
Part of me wishes we didn't do the wheels/tyres at the same time so we could have a true feeling of the suspension change on its own, but the planets all lined up and a pay rise needed spending so a job lot it was.
Our van is a daily drive and spends most of its life unladen. The real difference is felt when the back end hits a bump and the rear doesn't fly into the air on stiff springs. With the old setup every drain cover was jarring, now we hardly notice them.

I can't recommend @CRS Performance enough. I had a knocking coming from the rear which was driving me nuts, and had beaten my local garage, but Steve and his lad sorted it within a few hours. Well worth the six hour return trip ( even the Friday afternoon M1 north traffic ), thanks again Steve.
Another recommendation for @CRS Performance. I don't often write reviews but once in a while there's a company/person that just gets it and goes the extra mile.

The weight of sound deadening/leisure battery etc really showed up the original suspension was shot (18000 miles lol). The rear shocks were dead as a dodo.
Firstly Steve really knows his stuff. If you understand suspension, talk to him. If you don't, definitely talk to him. I can thoroughly recommend this kit, it rides sooooo well. The adjustable Koni damping on the front is perfect for me (I love Konis, run them for years on other stuff) so I can set it up as I like it. If you want lows around what I have mine set to, it's spot on - it will go lower. Steve was super helpful when I checked a couple of things with him, this makes such a difference and why I won't hesitate to recommend.
Anyway, this morning was a trip over to CRS to get the alignment done
Obligatory pics, despite the heavy rain it still looked shiny shiny
