Another thumbs up for Steve and his son they replaced my van’s suspension with H&R coilovers 2 weeks ago and my wife said that the van now drives like a luxury car.
I'm glad you wrote this. I've been convincing myself I need to ditch the 20's and get a set of 17's.This is where I am currently with my Caravelle, it's on std caravelle shocks and -30mm Sportline springs, which actually has resulted in 70mm lower than std at the front! It's on the std 235/55 17" wheels too so nothing low profile!
Motorway joints are... Ok. And smooth roads are great... That's about it
Every ripple, or slightly raised drain cover is felt, broken tarmac makes the van shudder and rattle, tarmac joints across the road are met with a 'KER-DUNK!!" and proper potholes, oh man - it feels and sounds like something has just hit the van!
If you see a black T6 swerving all over the road in Kent, it's probably me trying to find some smooth tarmac!
I'm getting booked in for the CRS treatment in a couple of weeks, thank god!
Do not change wheels till you have fixed the suspension !! you will be nicely surprisedI'm glad you wrote this. I've been convincing myself I need to ditch the 20's and get a set of 17's.
I bough the van with the 20's already fitted. By the sounds of it, I'd be no better off with 17's.
New suspension time then....
@CRS Performance I've had an email quote from you a few weeks back. I'll drop you a call in the next day or so to talk through options etc..Do not change wheels till you have fixed the suspension !! you will be nicely surprised
And TUV approved for European travelCan't leave a positive review for @CRS Performance - was looking forward to get a Black Friday discount on the H&R Coilover kit
Need to wait until January for a review.
Jokes aside, had a few good conversations with Steve and I'm looking forward to get something fitted after our Christmas holiday - still it would be nicer to drive 70mm lower to Germany next month
Rub it in...And TUV approved for European travel
