Hi all, hope some one can assist me through the minefield of wheel/tyre choices.

I would like to put these 20" Wolfrace Aero on my Kombi, its been lowered with 50mm H&R springs. I am completely new to replacement wheels and tyres, have no idea what the 'ET' reference refers to, or what size tyres should i fit to maintain the same diameter as the standard spare wheel and do you think these would rub as it been lowered? Any advice & guidance gratefully received

Thanks

@Neil987, try willtheyfit.com. It's a great website where wpyou can have a right play around with all sorts of wheel and tyre combos. If you know what you've got on at the minute, you can put in your new wheels and tyres and it will tell you how they size to the existing ones including rolling radius for the speedo

If you've got the lager front discs those won't fit- but they do an ET38 that will . The standard dics are OK

may be a stupid question, how do i know if I've got larger discs? and what does the ET number mean?

Thanks in advance

204 has larger brakes and et means if the wheel sits further in or out from your wheel hub standard wheel is Et 50

The ET is the distance between the centre of your wheel (if you could chop the wheel perfectly in half) and the back mounting face.

Can't remember the offset of factory wheels, but if @YESBOY is right at ET50, then any wheel with a lower ET will stick out towards the outer wheel arch and any wheel with a higher ET will sit nearer to inner arch and suspension. E.g. A wheel with ET20 will be but same in width will stick 30mm out further than the standard wheel.
Hope that helps

The offset of the wheel also depends on width of the wheel and the size so it's not as easy as that either
Have a look and play with different sizes it will give you a good idea
