Replace wing mirror on T6.1 any ideas

My LHS T6 Multivan wing mirror was destroyed but the Cap was still ok.
I bought an after market assembly for $151 ( maybe £70).
I doesn’t actually fit like a glove… The as bought cap is black.
The plug -cable is hiding in the Door somewhere. I am just going to get a Leco to splice it I think. Comments?
