Removal of Splitter?

Hi all

Looking for advice on removal of the "splitter" below. Was originally a lowered sporty van, now a swamper.

To me it appears bonded, so thinking heat up and see what happens? However thats how most of my accidents start so thought I'd ask those more knowledgeable first?

The other thing I was thinking was maybe replace the large gloss grill inserts (left and right) with OEM matt black/dark grey ones.

There is something about the front end that annoys me. I thought it was the splitter maybe not?!
