Recommend a campsite near pen y fan

Going there this weekend. Looking for a good place to stay. WiFi would be nice but not essential.

I've can't recommend this place highly enough: Pencelli Castle Caravan & Camping Park... it's a 15/20 min drive from Pen y Fan. Small-ish site but amazing owners and family. Walking distance from the Royal Oak in Pencelli. Short drive to Brecon if you need small town facilities.

Looked at that one. It’s doesn’t accept dogs.

There's one just down the road in Talybont-on-Usk... maybe called Talybont Farm that allowed dogs. I stayed there once and it was nice (admittedly it was in a tent, so no experience of van amenities).

1 dog only per pitch at Talybont.

I think we going to Snowdon instead where campsites are actually open and take dogs.

I can recommend Cefn Cantref, which is just to the north of Pen Y Fan and has fantastic views. Unfortunately they're closed until 1st March.

Dan yr ogof show caves have a little campsite it allows dogs and is shut for 1month of the yr.. opened back up on the 10th February. It's about 25m-30 mins from pen y fan.
Nice site I stayed for a wkend last yr shower facilities amazing nothing else there though.
There's a pub about 5-10min walk also we ordered a Chinese to be delivered to the site aswell.. there are a few other pubs about 10 min drive the Pen y cae and the ancient brit also the abercrave inn all serve lovely food.
