Rear view camera

Does anyone use a rear view camera (as opposed to a purely reversing camera)....it seems looking at many conversions that there can be little rear view vision, especially with a bike rack.....I know checking the rear view mirror is becoming a lost art And that I haven't driven my van yet, so are wing mirrors alone really that good?

Mirrors on a T6 are great for reversing, large with good field of view!

I have a friend that drives a big ass camper truck which doesn't have any view out the back. He has a rear view camera that displays on a little screen that he has stuck to the screen where the rear view mirror would be. He uses it so he can see if his boats remain on the trailer, because the camper is much wider than the trailer, so can't see them in the wing mirrors. Think he got it from Maplin's.

The idea of a rear facing camera just seems like a good idea.
