Random beetle...

On my continuing theme of random posts the wife just shouted that there's a weird looking beetle parked in our back garden.
Sadly no immaculate oval window restored but this beauty at about 30mm long... The wife mumbled something about Cock Chafer but if possible I'd like an to know what type of beetle it is.

The grubs from these eat the roots from your lawn and kill off the grass. They’re about 40mm long and cream coloured.

I used Nematodes to control them in my lawn.

Must have laid all it's eggs already as it looks pretty tired and barely moving, typical though as it's sitting on a modest patch of lawn I grew from seed last year!
