Hello all!

Is there any where to T off to get 12v in the door panels that will turn on when car electronics are turned on?

Or would i need to run another 12v feed from the dashboard fuse box?

Any help would be great thank you :)

Button illumination feed ? although i think this will dim with the dash dial ?

When I installed my marker/puddle lights there is a permanent 12v on the window motor. White wire shown here with my fused feed to the lights..

Ah! Does this mean the puddle light is always on? Is there no wire that is for only when the door is open?

If it's just for when the door is open then you need a set up like the marker/puddle lights kit. They work only when the door is open and that is what i fitted in the pictures. But you need a little knowledge and a decent multimeter with wire probes to find the correct wires to make it work. @saxoboy is the man I got my kit from so maybe he could help. I can try and find the pictures I took when I did mine. Is yours a T6.1 as I think it's a different wiring configuration in a T6

Does the white wire only work when the door is opened?

White wire is permanent. The trick is to find the switched negative from the door catch and feed a relay with this. Hence the wire probes. There is a bunch of 7 smaller wires which are all white. You need the probes to figure out which one to use.
