Post order in forum

Hi,

When I click on a section of forum it appears to be ordered entirely randomly. If I use the filter function to sort by latest post descending, it doesn't change the order at all, I change the parameters, click go and literally nothing changes. What might I be doing wrong?

Example what I see in ICE area...post from 2022...?

I want to see newest posts first.

It’s because all those posts are pinned. I don’t know why but we seem to have an inordinate number of pinned posts.
