Pop Top Canvas Material Cleaning/maintenance

Does anyone have any tips, does and do nots on cleaning and maintaining Pop top materials.

Having had our camper for 18 months now the canvas has never been particularly cleaned, SCA roof in question.
Have had a look on the SCA website but can't find any info.

Our SCA is coming up to 3 years old and so far we have not needed to do a full clean and/or consider reproofing. We have done a bit of spot cleaning but never use any detergents and always allow things to fully dry off and then try to brush off first before possibly using a bit of wet towel to wipe. I am a bit paranoid about making sure the roof is always completely dry after use and will often leave it raised on the drive for a while after our trips - I also raise the roof after I have cleaned the van in case the jet wash has got through the seals.

There are some valid tips in the article below that served us well with our old canvas Karsten tent - the tent was sold on earlier this year in near perfect condition having never been fully cleaned or re-proofed in the 5 years we had it. Maintenance tips - Karsten Tenten

@Davenjo Thanks for the link I'll take a look, I just think it's always best to keep these things looked after as i've seen some Pop top materials in a shabby state on vans that are not necessarily that old.

Thanks

Here are the care instructions form SCA.
Cheers
