Planar control PU27 blank screen

Hopefully someone can help, as title says I have lights but screen is blank. Any quick fix? Not got a clue what's going on and can't control it blind. I think I've managed to put it in to ventilation mode as well. My worry is I don't switch it off properly now and drain my battery

Un-plug controller from the rest of the wiring for a minute. There is a connector plug a few inches off the controller display to do this.
