PLAIN AND SIMPLE. DOES A T32, MEAN IT WEIGHS 3200KG EMPTY?

Hi, Sorry I dont but your V5 will give a close indication but for tax reasons. If you search T6 T32 brochure I guess you'll find it... have you checked the downloads section? may be there?

It'll be some where around 2 tonnes give or take a few hundred kilos empty, depends on spec.

Had my t32 150 t6 kombi weighed recently when i took my scrap metal to the scrap yard. I normally use my transit but the vw was conveniently low on fuel at the time so i was able to get a true "empty" weight. 2022kg

Thanks very much mate, I am sure you have answered a few peoples questions now

Was this SWB?
Plus there are sooooooooooooo many variables that affect weight of base van!

4Motion? LWB/SWB? Wheels? Lined? Sound-deadened? Retrofit ICE system?

Only way to tell is to attract the attention of the local bobby who hauls you to the nearest weighbridge when you're empty OR go there voluntarily and slip the geezer on the gate something with the king's head on to let you sit on his scales for a moment!

Privately owned (vs council owned) waste disposal/recycling places are quite accommodating I've found!

Good plan, my local scrappy is a nice chap so I might ask a favour.

Second that advice @z1ts I got our re-enacting trailer and all our kit weighed at the local commercial recycling plant on their weighbridge.

I caused much amusement when I turned up as when I said I wanted a car trailer weighing and could they help on the phone they thought I meant... well you've probably guessed the big HGV ones.

Leaving our 6 foot 750kg unbraked box van trailer on the huge HGV weighbridge did look a bit daft but with most of our kit being wood, canvas and steel I want to be sure I was in the limits.

Operator was happy just to show me the reading for no charge after she stopped laughing, said she would only charge if I needed an official record for a ferry or similar.

It's a common issue for the wider Motorhome community so there are a variety of drive over systems that aim to give you a reasonable estimate of your weight available if it's an ongoing need.
