Piggyback DCDC fuse or splice ignition wire

Hi guys,
About to connect up a REDARC 1240D dcdc system into my T6 and am just wondering whether anyone has piggybacked on any fuses in the centre console for the ignition wire (due to the smart alternator in the T6). If so what fuse slot worked? Has anyone found and spliced it directly into the ignition wire, this seems to make sense but im a bit scared to do so.
Thanks,
Ray

Quite a few topics on here.
the center strip of fuses in the fuse box under the dash.

Thanks, I found this but don’t have permission to download it. How would I get access?

If you have a T6 you can piggy back any fuse in the centre column/top half of the fuse box. This will give you ignition live.

Or you can add a wire into the back of the fuse block using an end terminal crimp and have a dedicated fuse for your needs, no piggyback required.
