we love Dunstable Downs if you get a good spot you can open up the tailgate and have some great views

yes went there as a kid, I think that will be the next trip
Check out the beach at West Wittering, near Chichester. Due to Covid restrictions you'll have to pre-book a parking space. West Wittering
If you get far enough south then Goodwood opposite the racecourse start line is good, We've met many camper vans there and there is a nice woodland walk adjacent. Butser Hill just off the A3 is great for views across East Meon or to the Isle of Weight Paragliders often 'soar' from the top. It was 'parking charges suspended' last time we were there but not sure now. Harting Down (N.T. so free parking if a member), see view attached. Again, lovely walks along the top of the South Downs and nice pubs nearby.
