Phone Calls Keep Disconnecting

When I’m making a phone call using Apple CarPlay after a few minutes very often I can’t hear the person, however they can hear me. This doesn’t happen when connected by Bluetooth. I have tried rebooting the phone restarting the head unit and a new lead. Does anyone else have this problem or better still a solution?

Not a fix, but why dont you just make calls using the bluetooth?

That’s what I’ve resorted to doing, but obviously this isn’t good enough as I paid for Apple play so expected it to work with an Apple phone.

Agreed, it should work. However I had Apple play in my last car its worked fine but I still used the bluetooth method as I preferred it.

I could live with bluetooth but I use google maps on apple play so need to un plug to make a call, not many things bug me but I hate tech that dont work!

That makes a it much more annoying, mine had the sat nav so hardly ever used google maps.

I use Apple CarPlay for the phone with no problem at all, either incoming or outgoing calls. I did have issues with people not hearing me but that was sorted by my dealer installing the latest updates
