Permanently sealing the OE side sliding windows

Any suggestions on the best way to permanently seal a very leaky side window?
I’ve had the lower cover off and can see a previous owner has damaged one of the drains also at the top of the skiing unit frame there’s corrosion.

I never open them anyway

I did my near side one this summer, I was ready to go down the foam core insert route but the slider had corroded.
Remove the slider, degrease, mask off the fixed window and use a new Stanley blade to cut the edge of the masking tape for a clean edge.
Re-assemble, final degrease and use Soudal Fix All high polymer adhesive or similar.
Smooth in with a wet finger and avoid overworking.
Remove masking tape asap, leave any mistakes until dry and remove with a new Stanley blade

Best way is to replace the glass with a none sliding type. Clean corrosion by the way and apply good protection stuff.

Yes maybe a better idea, any suggestions on where would do this near Stockport?
