basicly the part required is marked with the circle in the photos. I've no idea what this black thing is called, but it restricts my use of back doors on barn door van T5.1 2014 from been used with a key.
Any way any help would be great , TYIA.

Photos are attached , hopefully you can see the lower part broken off.. the top is a button clip. any help is welcome or done way to join the plastic again. Although I'd prefer to purchase a new rod and pivot ( black peice which is broken.)

Probably easier to just buy a second hand lock unit off eBay, the part number is on the sticker

You could always try Breaker Yards….many a new van is stripped for spares….
