Interesting. If that's what's fitted from factory and they're available to buy, it makes sense to fit them.

Anything to make it safer for passengers!

@foggy3061 great guide, I'll start my seat fitting and use it as a reference. Although I will just install the single seat that is closer to the door only.
Does anyone knows if I need to use the 7H0802763A (long reinforcement) even if I will fit the single seat or if it can be replaced by 7H0803547A (short reinforcement) & 7H0803548A ?

Also, the diagram show the use of another reinforcement: 7H0802369. Anyone knows what is it used for?

Thanks!

I think you would need to use the long reinforcement on the inside seat mounting bracket (even though you will only need to use one hole) as they are designed to sit flat against the van underside.

The small reinforcement brackets are designed to sit on the uneven van underside at the sides of the van.

I think part 7H0802369 is a mount for the California style long seat rails but I'm not 100% sure.

Thanks @foggy3061 , I'll give it a try when all this corona thing goes away and I can get out :/

Cheers!

I found this website: side panel, inner Transporter (TR) 2016 year Volkswagen EUROPA 809000

On that list part number 45 (7H3 810 301 B and 7H3 810 302 B) seem to only be needed for vehicles with a wheelbase of 3400MM (LWB).

It looks like part number 4 (7H0 809 417 A and 7H0 809 418 A) may be needed for SWB vans?

I think the best way to tell is if a kind soul with a factory Kombi took some detailed pictures of the area to share with us :)

Sorry for jumping in this thread. Not looking to mount seatbelts but needing the parts highlighted in the picture below to mount the rear ply panel to. Anyone have any idea where I could get them or have a part number for them? thanks!

Pick them up from your local VW parts dept.

Here's some part number knowledge for you:

Are you fitting VW kombi 2+1 seats?

Using this sort of layout:

If so, it sounds like you'll need 8 (4 of each type) of the single reinforcing brackets (for the 4 outer most brackets, 2 each side) and 4 of the double reinforcing brackets for the 4 inside seat mounts.
