Panel Van to Kombi Conversion - Folded Seat Height

Hi,

I am considering converting my T6.1 2002 Panel Van to a Kombi van with a 'factory' style finish, using a twin and single seat.

When these are in the Van but folded flat, doesn anyone know what height they are ?

See pic as i have a go kart in the back and want to leave the seats in place but fold them flat.

I’m not with the van otherwise I’d measure, but iirc they’re 580mm from floor

Got a feeling it’s around 540/550mm from when I was researching beds for mine

My single and double rear seats are in our garage after recently moving a double bed.
Sat on the floor, so not in the latching points. Folded ‘flat’ they’re 580-90 at the fronts and 540 at the rears.
Pleased you asked, as just discovered garage felt roof has developed a very recent drip. Straight onto the single, which luckily had a towel over it!

How did you go on with the conversion? I have a Kombi with a bench seat, and looking at a rear load storage for a Kart. My van already has aready been lined, but wanting to do the same as you, drop the seats and have a board go over to rest the kart on.
